Pro tip: Dotted delays (1.5x) add groove and swing. Triplet delays (2/3x) create a waltz-like feel. Try setting a short delay (1/16 dotted) for slapback on vocals.

Remember: Decibels are logarithmic. +3 dB doubles the power, while +6 dB doubles the voltage (or amplitude). In practice, a +10 dB increase sounds roughly twice as loud to the human ear.
